It’s been 6 months…6 amazing months since our wedding weekend. I’m sitting on the couch with the balcony door open, looking at beautiful Uptown Charlotte, and it’s bringing back some great memories. Not a cloud in the sky, cool, light breeze…just like our wedding weekend. We were married the same weekend that the Royals were married in London. The Friday before our big day, my dear friend Kristen Cone hosted the most ridiculously amazing Bridal Luncheon for myself, maids and female family. It was an English-tea-themed affair, to honor the Royal’s wedding day, my mother’s English heritage (and mine by default), and because an English/Southern tea is just about as girly and perfectly fitting for a Bridal Luncheon as can be!
No attention to detail was spared. I showed up, my jaw dropped. Dropped. I shouldn’t have been so shocked, Kristen’s taste is impeccable–anyone who has seen her interior design work can tell you that. It was over-the-top amazing, and it was a day I will surely never forget. I can never say enough, thank you, thank you, thank you Kristen.

Girl… sounds crazy but I remember when and where I was when Cheyenne posted this!! It was June and I was in Chicago… and it took my breath away! This is over the top… the BEST bridal shower I’ve ever seen! You have some amazing friends! Happy 6 mos! 🙂
I love that!!! I remember where I was too–I was actually in Chicago too (that is scary weird) in the airport on the way home when I saw Cheyenne had posted it! It was the BEST bridal luncheon ever! Thank you 🙂
